The activities that we offer are perfect to discover the Dominican Republic. The wind picks up in the afternoon and therefore our activities are planned in the morning to give you enough time to come back and get ready to go on the water.
HORSEBACK RIDING
If you would like to have a taste of the beautiful Mountains, Rivers and Nature that the Dominican Republic has to offer, then you should definitely try the horseback riding tour. You will take a stunning ride in a beautiful décor filled with colors! You leave at 9 am and come back at 1pm, just in time for the wind to pick up and go on the water!!
KAYAK
The Kayaking tour is another excellent way to explore the country! Paddle your way through rapids and crystal clear pools under a canopy of lush tropical vegetation. Jump in the water, swim with the fish, listen to the birds and enjoy the incredibly beautiful countryside. During the eco adventures, you will discover wild landscapes only accessible by rivers, far from the average tourist routes. You don't need any kayaking experience to participate in these trips as the guides are also talented instructors.
CATAMARAN
Tip Top Tours invites you to embark on a beautiful catamaran, which will be waiting especially for you, on the beach. At this precise moment the magic of your boat trip will be revealed. You will be taken on a journey along the most breath-taking coastline of the North Coast. Your sailing discovery will be one of total comfort in the best conditions one can ever hope to experience. Before lunch, you will stop to enjoy some snorkeling on a wonderful coral reef. After cruising along these virgin beaches, the luxurious 75-foot catamaran will anchor in the Bay of Cambiaso.
CANYONING
The Magic Mushroom Tour is an unforgettable Canyoning trip down the amazing Rio Blanco. This tour will stimulate all your senses. It includes rappels of up to 160 feet and exhilarating jumps of up to 30 feet into deep pools of crystal clear water. Previous experience of rappelling not essential as the guides will take you through the steps until you feel confident to go ahead.
WAKEBOARD
The Cabarete Yassica River offers wakeboarding in warm waters and glassy conditions. The school is located right on the river and has access to over 6 km of glassy river conditions which is over 70 m wide and has no other boats to contend with. At the mouth of the river, a big lagoon provides a perfect picturesque site for double-Ups. The camp has a unique tropical slider park.
MOUNTAIN BIKE
There are 7 different mountain bike tours in the mountains surrounding Cabarete. If you are a beginner or a novice rider, our operator will put together a phenomenal mountain bike ride that stokes your adrenaline while opening a world of tropical nature and local culture.
SURF
During the morning, before the wind picks up, CNS organises collective Surf lessons at playa Encuentro, which is situated about 5 km West of Cabarete. Playa Encuentro is 'the surfspot' here on the North Coast, known for its worldclass left break called 'The Destroyer', but also ideal for lessons and beginners who can catch their first rides on the white water on the inside.
ENDURO
Now here is one activity that might not have considered on your trip to Cabarete. Admittedly, it is not for everyone but, if you have at least basic motorcycle riding experience, we have a fantastic tour to suit your skills. The mountainous terrain behind Cabarete is one of the most incredible enduro playgrounds on this planet. There are literally thousands of trails (many of them are donkey trails) criss-crossing mountains, valleys, rivers, jungles and villages. The Tour organizer has all the experience and equipment required for a safe, fun and challenging day on the trails. All the bikes are KTM enduro specific bikes, with all protective gear, snacks and and fantastic guides provided.
FISH AND FUN BOAT SAFARI
The Fish and Fun boat Safari tour is a full day tour that includes fishing, horseback riding, snorkeling, chilling on a beautiful deserted beach, having lunch under the palm trees and drinking cocktails out of a pineapple!! The 27 feet sport/console boat will take people fishing, while others who prefer horseback riding, will go on a fabulous ride. At lunch everyone gathers on the beach. In the afternoon the whole group goes snorkeling and has fun on the water. The location is about 35 minutes from Cabarete. Good snorkeling equipment, fun bands and water-skis are available as well.
TRAPEZE SCHOOL
No wind, no surf, no problem!! Flying High ! Ever dreamt about flying through the air, flying trapeze, walk on the tight wire, learn how to juggle and many more... The circus organises classes for kids and adults, birthday parties, group events, and complete circus shows for any venues.
GOLF
There are two Golf courses nearby. At 45 minutes East from Cabarete, you can take the challenge to play at PLAYA GRANDE, the internationally acclaimed 18-holes golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones. PLAYA GRANDE has been elected one of the 10 most beautiful golf courses in the world. It is situated along the Atlantic Ocean. We can also recommend you another 18-holes golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones, PLAYA DORADA Golf Club which is also an interesting golf course to play at 30 minutes West from Cabarete, in Puerto Plata.
DIVING / SNORKELING
The closest diving/snorkeling spot is in Sosua, about 15 minutes from Cabarete. Several different tours are organized, we work together with a Padi approved operator who will give you an introduction course, or will take experienced divers on a magnificent dive.
SUP Stand-Up Paddle Surfing
Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP) is a sport designed for all, and a fun, new emerging sport in the world and in Cabarete. We organize lessons and rentals, but also tours to cruise along the reefs and rivers.
